Howdy. I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend!
K and I originally planned on spending Saturday at the Whitewater Center but there was pretty much a monsoon here on Friday and the USWWC closes their trails after a heavy rain. Boo.
We had to drop my car off Saturday AM at the dealership in Davidson so we just decided to spend the morning up there. Davidson is charming and I love spending time there. We started out the morning with some breakfast at a quaint little restaurant called Toast. Normally I get some sort of scrambled egg whites or an egg white omelette there, but that morning I just felt like letting loose :) I ended up getting some peach and blueberry crepes filled with cream cheese, bacon and eggs. It was amazingggg… but I was stuffed for the rest of the day.
After breakfast we strolled through the Davidson’s Farmer’s market. In case you were wondering, the Davidson Farmer’s market is wayyyyy better than the Charlotte one. There is a greater variety of products liked baked goods, soaps, seafood and meats. I want to go there every Saturday now!
We still had time to kill so we decided to go to the movies at Birkdale. We saw The Heat and it was SO funny. Like, pee in your pants kind of funny. I loved it.
I also loved what I found walking through Birkdale… a new Lululemon! This could be a potential problem for me because Birkdale is very convenient to where I live. The store hasn’t opened yet but I can’t wait til it does.
Time to head to bed so I can rest up for WEEK 4 of my internship.
