Here are a few things that I really enjoyed last month!
#1: Erin Condren Planner
This really is the perfect planner for a student, or someone who is juggling a lot of different things. I carry it in my bag with me, use it every day and absolutely love it.
#2: New Sunnies
Remember when I was doing my clinical rotation and commuted 2 hours every day? Well, I don’t think I ever mentioned that the sun was in my face for that entire time. And yes, in case you were wondering, the sun does begin to rise at 6am in the summer!
I’ve never had a nice pair of sunglasses in my entire life and decided one morning, “F this. I’m getting some polarized sunglasses”. BAM. And I love them!
#3 Camelbak Water Bottle
I’ve had this water bottle for an eternity but it’s always played second fiddle to my tervis tumbler cups. However, I am currently lugging a ton of crap back and forth to my internship and love that I can fill this up with (purified) water at home and toss it in my bag. It is also convenient to carry around everywhere without worrying about it spilling. I’ve actually thought about buying a smaller one that I can keep in my purse but I’m afraid of the eye roll my husband is going to give me when he sees I bought another water bottle. Nutrition people like water bottles… what can I say?
#4 Lean In
I know I’ve already written about this book but I can’t tell you how much I loved it. I wish I had read it 5 years ago, right when I graduated college. Everyone should read it!
#5 My dogs
Beamer being sick last week made me realize how much I love him. When our vet told us he thought something serious was wrong with him and that we needed to go to the emergency vet, I immediately thought about what my life would be like without him. I know that sounds silly, and that people without dogs may not understand, but I couldn’t ask for better companions than Lily or Beamer. They stay up with me until all hours of the night when I’m doing work, crawl in my lap when I’m having a crappy day, flip out when I come home because they are so happy to see me and in general are the best little buddies a girl could ask for.
