This past weekend I made baked apples in the crock pot, which is one of my favorite fruits ever!
I love this recipe for several reasons: it is simple and quick to prepare, it uses the slow cooker so it doesn’t need much monitoring, and there are very few ingredients!
Ingredients:
- 8-10 red delicious apples (or your favorite apple)
- Cinnamon
All you need to do is slice your apples, stick them in the crock pot and sprinkle them with cinnamon. Cook them on high for 3-4 hours if you like them kind of mushy. I don’t peel my apples since the skin contains a lot of the nutrients. I also love cinnamon so I’m pretty heavy-handed with my “sprinkle”
