This past week was probably the hardest week for reaching my miles since I set my 325-mile goal last month. I had a busy week at work and ended up not working out at all on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I also had some major bike issues on Sunday last week and ended up having to leave my bike at the shop the other day. I’m supposed to get it back on Wednesday. I miss it!
Here’s how this week turned out:
Monday- Bike, 13.34 miles
Tuesday- nothing
Wednesday- nothing
Thursday – nothing
Friday- Walk/run, 4.02 miles
Saturday- Walk/run, 2.51 miles
Sunday- Walk, 3.61 miles
I’m starting to keep track of my miles from Monday-Sunday because I write things down in my planner and that is how the weekly calendar is arranged.
I can tell that I’m starting to build a little bit of endurance with running. You may recall that my run at the beach was the first time in forever that I had run a mile without stopping. I’ve run a mile several times since then and on Friday, I built that up to 1.25 miles. Hopefully I can continue to increase that. I am pretty much the worst runner ever, so if I can do it then so can anyone
