The Big Revival
I’m a huge Kenny Chesney fan, so of course I bought his new album when it was released on Tuesday.
So far I love it! My favorite songs are Don’t It, Wild Child and Til It’s Gone. His previous album was pretty beachy, and I appreciate the rock/country vibe of this one. There’s also a song on there with Grace Potter called Wild Child that’s pretty good.
Morning Selfie
I was working on a “Day in the Life” post the other day. I know you were dying to know what I look like when I wake up at 5am.
I always feel kind of dumb when I’m taking selfies… especially when I have an audience.
Ortho Appt
I have a follow-up with my orthopedic doctor today and I’m not quite sure what to expect. I was originally scheduled for Tuesday but there was a conflict with his office. I’m dying to ride my bike again, so this wait has been killing me.
I realized last night that I bought a new pair of minimalist tennis shoes the weekend before I injured my knee. I’m wondering if that has anything to do with how my knee pain hasn’t improved. Definitely something to bring up tomorrow!
Have a Good Day!
Love the title of the blog. There’s no telling what has been tossed behind mine. Good selfie. I don’t look quite so glamorous when I wake up :).
Confession: I did put on under eye concealer prior to snapping the pic
The only socks I will run in are Balega socks. Tragedy that one ended up behind the washer but glad you were finally able to recover it. Worth the effort for sure!
What were you using your minimalist tennis shoes for? Just walking around or were you running, doing some intense training in them?
I got them to wear to work. I recently started a new job working in a hospital, so I am on my feet for a large part of the day. I never really thought about the amount of support in an everyday tennis shoe, as I’m not wearing them for running. I guess I should consider it given that I’m on my feet so much during the day.
