It’s hard to believe that another month has come and gone and Sunday is the beginning of March! I’m a little excited about this because March is National Nutrition Month and there’s a ton of stuff going on to celebrate.
But in the meantime, I wanted to share some things I especially loved during the month of February!
**The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at Shallow Year**
If you are a lover of BravoTV and/or all things Real Housewives then you will love getting a closer look into Andy Cohen’s life with his newest book. He writes this book like a diary, and his wit and vulgarity are absolutely hilarious. My favorite part was Andy’s journey to finding companionship in a pet and ultimately adopting his dog, Wacha. I could totally relate to the love he has for W! I also *love* Anderson Cooper and he makes many appearances in Andy’s stories. A must-read for all of you reality TV junkies out there
**Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups**
Oh.my.gosh. These things are amazing. They are like Reese’s except 10x better, and I didn’t even think there was a candy on this planet that is better than Reese’s. The best part is that they come in bite-size cups instead of the really big ones, so they are a nice little treat to have and feel like you over-indulged!
**Lululemon Wunder Under Leggings**
Okay, I feel bad that I’m about to promote a LLL product because there are a lot of things about this company that I have not agreed with throughout the past several years. I am in love with a specific pair of their running shorts (they are the only ones I’ll run in, and recently got replaced with the Run Times shorts) but even so, I did not step foot in their store for over a year after the whole see-through pants debacle. But now that they have new leadership and seem to be trying to get their shit together, I’m going to give them a bit of a pass to tell you how much I love their Wunder Unders.
I’ve been on the search for a pair of leggings all winter. I like to take walks outside in the evening and just needed something to cover my legs. I am short and have wider hips, so finding a pair of flattering leggings at the right length that stay up at the waist has been quite the task. I finally caved and ended up getting a pair of Wunder Unders after unsuccessfully looking in about 100 other stores. These pants are amazing, and I love them, and I’ve worn them almost every single day since I bought them. LLL also offers free hemming with pants purchases, so the length is perfect for me. And now I hate myself just a little bit for admitting all of this to you.
**Duluth Women’s Lifetime Leather Tote**
Ah, me and my bags. I like that this tote is nice and big so I can fit all of my work stuff in it (planner, lunch, wallet, and whatever else I need for the day). I love that there are two nice-sized outside pockets, which are hard to find on a leather bag, because they are perfect for smaller items. The cognac color is a favorite of mine because it’s classic and versatile, but the bag also comes in a dark brown and grey.
**OPI Lincoln Park After Dark**
Definitely my favorite winter nail color. So dark. So pretty. I love to wear it on my toes.
**Clean Eating Magazine Subscription**
My mom got a subscription to Clean Eating Magazine for me for Christmas and it’s pretty much the perfect gift for me. I like cooking magazines, but I’m generally conscientious about my diet and find that a lot of recipes I see in cooking magazine are more for indulgence meals and not what I would choose to make on a daily basis…. especially because I tend to make large batches of things to have several leftover meals on hand. I like that this magazine stresses using whole ingredients and making healthier dishes. I also love all of the articles related to healthy eating!
**bareMinerals 5 in 1 BB Advanced Performance Eyeshadow**
I first tried this product when I received a free sample with a Sephora purchase, and then I got the full-sized version in the Neutral Eyes Tutorial makeup kit that I bought around Christmas time. My eyelids are kind of oily so I usually use a primer, and Urban Decay’s Primer Potion has been my go-to product for years. I still love it, but I think this bareMinerals BB eye shadow is a lot more versatile. It comes in several different colors that are nice and neutral. I have the color Elegant Taupe, which makes my eyes look nice and bright when its worn by itself. It is also a great primer if I want to add some color over top of it.

Are you especially loving anything this month?
Do you have anything fun or special planned to March?
Have a great weekend!
OMG. I NEED those TJ’s dark chocolate PB cups! I’ve been loving my Lululemon vinyasa scarf, especially because of how cold it’s been lately. Happy Friday!
I am in love with that LLL vinyasa scarf!
I LOVE Trader Joe’s dark chocolate pb cups! They are dangerously addicting.
I just saw your instagram, your dog is soo cute!
Thank you! I do try to limit the number of dog pictures I post because I don’t want to come across as a crazy dog lady (even though I pretty much am) :)
Those dark chocolate candies sound amazing! And I love some of Lululemons leggings too…I just can’t afford to shop there more than like once a year! Also, that nail polish would be perfect to cover up my gross runners’ toenails!:)
Yes, that is the best Nailpolish for covering up, uh, toenail imperfections!
I’ve never bought any Lulu gear, simply because I’m the cheapest person on the planet. I know it can be tough to find leggings that fit [trust me, I’m short but stumpy with a big booty and quads!] but theres just no way id ever spend over $50 on a pair of leggings! I barely spend that much on shoes that I workout in every day lol BUT they do have some freaking gorgeous stuff. Maybe if I made more money I would actually buy something but for now, I just look and drool ;)
See, I’m the opposite with workout bottoms. I have such a hard time finding things that will stay up at the waist and not cause chafing that I would rather invest in a higher quality that I’m going to love and wear a lot. But I know they are more pricey than other options. Sometimes I receive LLL gcs at Christmas and that is a special treat :)
Ohh I like that tote! Beautiful!
Lincoln Park After Dark … did you listen to the Serial podcast series? That’s totally what the name reminds me of! haha
I have not listened to the Serial podcast but I’ve heard it is addicting!
mmm, those PB cups look good! But I have to say, from a flavor standpoint I chose milk chocolate over dark chocolate any day.
I usually prefer milk chocolate over dark as well. There’s something about these that are just really good, though!
Those peanut butter cups sound amazing! I’m one of those people that isn’t super big on chocolate, milk or dark, especially plain dark, I just can’t do it, but I love chocolate when it’s paired with another flavor. And I’m always up for a review on some leggings! I have a hard time finding ones that fit me too, because I’m short as well and they all just scrunch so much at the bottom by my ankles and come up too high on the waist. So thanks for the recommendation! :)
I have the same issues! Leggings are tricky for us short ladies. First world problems :)
I love that bag, it’s the most perfect color…and so is the color of that OPI polish!

The Southern Stylista
I really love the color as well. It’s so versatile. Although, I love it so much that I’m finding all of my bags are that color :) I need to branch out for the spring.
