Hey guys…. so, something happened with my website the other day and it took Bluehost a minute to get things straightened out. Glad everything is up and running again! Thanks so much for your kind thoughts about my Catching Up post on Monday. I think I wrote, delete and rewrote that post about a dozen times, so your comments meant a lot to me. On a lighter note, we still have some more catching up to do…
Here are some things Lily and I have done over the past month:
Said prayers for 60 straight minutes that my bikes would not fall off of my car on the highway.
Attempted to fit all of my makeup in 1 large box… and finally admitted that I have a lot of makeup.
Lost my shit on the cable guy when he was 3.5 hours late, got upset that I wouldn’t reschedule, smoked on my front lawn, mistakenly tried to charge me $170 COD and complained about my dog barking.
We struggled to play with toys because of that darn e-collar after an ear surgery.
Realized while unpacking that the only glasses I had were wine glasses. Oh well, I made it work.
Took naps on the couch instead of unpacking. For like a week.
Was a guest poster for Pretty Little Grub. Check out Jen’s blog!
Found old school nutrition stuff and thanked God I am no longer a school dietitian.
Bought a little baby Frappuccino when I was in the city because there are NO STARBUCKS where I live.
Dumped everything I didn’t want to unpack in my guest bedroom. It may or may not still look like that. Let’s pretend no one knows about this.
Does moving bring out the best in us or what?!
Ummmm, so I moved 6 months ago and my guest room is STILL filled with the crap I didn’t know what to do with/didn’t want to unpack, so I’d say you’re in good company.
Haha, I’m glad to hear that because I was seriously just thinking I wasn’t going to unpack any of that stuff anytime soon
Thank goodness for guest (aka storage) rooms when unpacking in a new home. My husband and I are using our office as this room right now and it is full of boxes and randomness that we haven’t had time or energy to sift through. It seems like you are slowly getting settled and your new home looks cozy and comfy! And don’t worry, we have about a thousand glasses in our house, but I still prefer using wine glasses for everything. Especially not that I cannot drink wine.
I basically unloaded everything into that room and have slowly started unpacking boxes from there
