All good things must come to an end, and Sunday officially concluded our 2016 G&G New Year’s Nutrition Boot Camp!
I always encourage people to bring their diets back to the basics of eating well, and that was my goal with the boot camp challenges. My philosophy when it comes to being a dietitian is that eating healthy does not have to be hard or complicated. You don’t have to do a cleanse, eliminate food groups or develop an unhealthy relationship with food just to achieve your health and wellness goals. I hope this challenge illustrated my thoughts on this!
The participant with the most points will win a $50 Visa gift card! Please enter your first & last name and total points below to enter.
Another lucky participant will receive a surprise gift from me as a THANK YOU for participating in the challenge this year. To enter, please leave a comment below answering the following questions:
Which challenge was the most difficult for you? I would say keeping track of added sugar was hardest for me. That is usually not my primary focus when I’m looking at a nutrition label, so it was eye-opening to see which products had more sugar than I expected.
Which challenge came the easiest for you? The water challenge was easy peasy for me *as long as* I started drinking water in the morning. If I waited until the afternoon then it was harder for me to fit in all servings.
Were you able to continue with some goals even when you moved into other weeks? I definitely continued with my water intake throughout the 6 weeks. I notice so much of a difference in the way I feel when I’m adequately hydrated.
