Do you find the topic of dairy and PCOS to be conf Do you find the topic of dairy and PCOS to be confusing? 👇🏼 Here are some things to know:⁣
➡️ There’s no conclusive research that indicates you need to eliminate dairy just because you have PCOS.
➡️ There is research indicating that it’s better for PCOS if you switch to full-fat dairy.
➡️ Eliminating dairy may help acne in some cases, but this is individualized. I always recommend switching to full-fat first before doing a trial elimination. The fat is better for insulin levels and androgen levels.
➡️ Nutrition is individualized. If you don’t do well dairy because you have an intolerance or feel like it has helped you then do what works for you.

You can lower blood sugar independent of weight.
You don't have to completely cut out sugar to manage blood sugar.

Have you ever impulsively purchased a “gadget” Have you ever impulsively purchased a “gadget” that promised to give you clarity when it came to your health….
…but then you ended up more overwhelmed, more confused, and out a few hundred dollars?
Sure, there may a time and place for some of these health gadgets like a smart ring, apple watch, CGM, etc, but I don’t recommend it to be your first line of treatment.
A member from my recent group coaching program shared that she found great improvement in her insulin resistance by eating breakfast.
Breakfast is GOOD, but it’s not a bright, shiny object promising you data that makes you feel more “in control” of something. It’s not a hot selling point. It’s not a “sexy” piece of advice that sounds too good to be true. But it’s simple and something any of you listening can try. And often that’s all you need.
Focusing on simple shifts + listening to our body can be more valuable than any gadget because (believe it or not) YOU know your body better than anyone or anything else.
I share some more reflection of what my group coaching members found helpful in the post recent episode of the Nourished with PCOS podcast!
In episode 34, you can hear about:
-Where to start with healing binge eating
-What to look for with your support system
-Why the small things matter the most with PCOS
