Happy July 4th! (1 day late)
So this week I finished the 4th week of my clinical rotation which means I’m officially halfway through at this site and almost 1/3 through my clinical rotations.
Here are the highs and lows of the week:
High of the week– Earlier this week I presented a mini case study and it went pretty well. We have *a lot* of work to do during this internship and the mini case study was my first ‘big’ assignment for my clinical rotations. I have to make some corrections to it before I formally submit it but it feels good to almost have that one checked off of the list.
Low of the week– Realizing that I am having a hard time finding time for myself with this rotation. I have not been to the gym since April. I have not picked up my guitar at all since the end of May and there is a book that has been sitting on my nightstand for 2 weeks that I haven’t even opened. Every time I start to do something for myself, I stop because I feel like I should be doing school work. Then I am grumpy because I’m not doing things that I enjoy.
I have been trying to thing of ways I can work around this but honestly, I have a lot on my plate right now. I am just going to have to try to manage my time better… but that is easier said than done.
I hope you have a good weekend!
