Your summer probably looks like this…

Your schedule is a bit different. You’ve got vacation coming up, weekend plans, dinners out, and maybe some additional travel.

And in the middle of all of it, PCOS is still sitting in the background.

💥 The afternoon crashes are still happening.

🍟 The cravings still hit hard at night.

🩸 You’re still worried about your blood sugar.

You know you should probably be doing something about it. You’ve read the articles, followed the accounts, tried to figure out what to eat and when. But actually building a plan that fits into your real summer? That’s the part that keeps not happening.

You don’t want to spend your summer meal prepping every Sunday or cutting out the foods you love. You want to enjoy the season.

AND you also want to feel better in your body.

The Summer Blood Sugar Refresh is for you!

Meet the Summer Blood Sugar Refresh.

Individualized support with a Registered Dietitian who specializes in PCOS, built for the reality of your summer.

Together, we’ll work on:

  • Building meals that keep your blood sugar steady
  • Calming cravings without giving up carbs
  • Figuring out what to eat around traveling, restaurants, and social plans
  • Learning what your body actually needs with PCOS so you feel less confused

By the end, you’ll have a solid foundation of what to do to lower blood sugar and feel better with PCOS!

Enrollment closes July 31st. Only 6 spots available.

The Summer Blood Sugar Refresh:

what’s included:

A 75-Minute Initial Nutrition Assessment

This is where we get to know each other. I’ll take a deep look at your health history, PCOS journey, current eating patterns, labs, and what you actually want to feel like at the end of four weeks. Then we’ll build your starting-point plan together, personalized to your life and your body.

30-Min Nutrition Check-In Session

After a couple of weeks, we’ll hop back on a call to see how things are landing. What’s working, what’s not, what needs to adjust. This is where the real coaching happens. We tweak based on what your body is actually doing.

Food Journal Review

You’ll send me a few days of your food intake and I’ll walk you through it with specific, personalized feedback. What’s working, what your blood sugar might be responding to, and what small tweaks would make a real difference for you.

Unlimited Messaging Support

When a question comes up between calls, you don’t have to wait for the next appointment. Message me anytime (M-F) and I’ll get back to you. Meal ideas, restaurant questions, “is this a normal PCOS thing” moments, whatever comes up.

this is for you if:

You have PCOS / PMOS and blood sugar has been on your radar. Maybe your A1c has crept up. Maybe you know you have insulin resistance. Maybe you just know you crash hard every afternoon and something isn’t right.

You’ve tried figuring it out on your own by Googling, following PCOS accounts, and reading books. Some of it helped, most of it left you more confused.

You want real support from someone who knows PCOS deeply, without signing up for months of coaching or a rigid meal plan.

You want the freedom to enjoy summer AND take real steps toward feeling better.

  • From past clients:

“While learning about the Insulin Resistance and gentle nutrition, and physical health, my 3 month A1C (blood sugars) dropped over a point and I found myself with less cravings for sugar while feeling more satiated.”

pcos nutrition coaching with dietitian sam

Hey there!

I’m Sam, a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor who specializes in PCOS (now officially called PMOS).

I’ve spent years helping people with PCOS understand what’s actually happening in their bodies and build ways of eating that support their hormones without turning food into another thing to stress about.

My approach is grounded in the current PCOS research: insulin resistance and inflammation are the root causes, and addressing those makes the biggest difference in how you feel day to day. AND my approach is weight-neutral, which means we focus on the things you can actually control, like nutrition, movement, and how you take care of yourself, instead of chasing an outcome that isn’t really behavior in the first place.

If you’ve been given a lot of conflicting advice and you just want someone to help you make sense of it, this is what I do.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I need to cut out carbs or sugar?

Nope. Cutting foods out isn’t realistic for most people, so it’s not part of my approach. You’ll learn how to build meals that keep your blood sugar steady while still enjoying carbs and desserts.

Do you take insurance?

I do not. However, HSA and FSA payments are accepted.

What if I’m traveling this summer?

Honestly, this is exactly why I built the Refresh. Long, structured coaching packages don’t fit into a real summer schedule, especially when vacations, travel, and less of a set routine are the norm.

The Refresh is designed to flex with you. Everything is virtual, so we can meet from wherever you are. The initial session and check-in call are your two anchor points, and the unlimited messaging means you have me in your pocket for real-time support. Restaurant menu questions, “what do I order at this rehearsal dinner” moments, packing food for a flight, navigating an all-inclusive resort. Whatever comes up, you’re not figuring it out alone..

What is the difference between this Summer Refresh package and the Nourished with PCOS program?

Nourished with PCOS is my self-study program that includes one year of access to the modules, 10 weeks in the private community, and two group Q&A calls with me. It’s perfect for the person who wants to learn how to manage PCOS on their own schedule while still having group support for questions and accountability. It is currently closed for enrollment until this fall.

The Summer Blood Sugar Refresh is high-touch, individualized support. We meet privately 2 times, I personally review your food journal, and all messaging is directly between the two of us.

Both work well depending on what you’re looking for. If you want the group experience with self-paced learning, Nourished is perfect for you. If you want individualized attention this summer, the Refresh would be a better fit.

What if I don’t have an official PCOS / PMOS diagnosis?

You don’t need a formal diagnosis to join. If you’re dealing with elevated blood sugar (and cravings, fatigue, blood sugar swings, high A1c), then this refresh is for you. We can also talk about next steps with your provider if getting a clearer diagnosis matters to you.

September is PMOS/PCOS Awareness Month. This is a time to highlight just how common PMOS/PCOS is while also acknowledging how often it’s misunderstood or dismissed.
For so many, living with PCOS means navigating fatigue, cravings, irregular cycles, and blood sugar changes on top of not feeling heard in medical spaces.
People with PCOS deserve better treatment options, more research, and better care. And you deserve to have a healthy relationship with food, too!
Awareness Month is about more than stats. It’s about making sure no one feels invisible in their PCOS journey. 💕

Fiber is one of the most underrated tools for bloo Fiber is one of the most underrated tools for blood sugar balance, and it doesn't require a total diet overhaul. 🌾
Small additions like chia seeds, avocado, and broccoli slow down how quickly sugar hits your bloodstream, which means fewer spikes and crashes.
The best part? You don't have to give up the foods you love to get there. Adding in fiber doesn't mean you have to cut things out. ✨

You think you have a willpower problem. Nope, you You think you have a willpower problem.
Nope, your blood sugar swings have your body constantly asking for quick fuel, which is why the cravings feel impossible to fight. 🩸
If you’ve been told you’re prediabetic (or your A1c is creeping up 📈), you’ve probably also been told to just “eat less” and “cut carbs.” And when that didn’t fix the cravings, it probably felt like a you problem.
It’s not. Constant blood sugar spikes and crashes keep your body on high alert for fast energy, so the cravings aren’t a discipline issue. They’re a chemistry issue. ✨
